Bridal Shower Napkins

I never did post the Bridal Shower napkins I did for a family friend. Her colors were red and black, so it was pretty easy to find the flowers to match. I got the cream cocktail napkins at Party City for less than $3 a package, and found the ink, flowers, and Mr. & Mrs. Stamp 1/2 off at Hobby Lobby.

I also had plenty of various-sized rhinestones leftover from other projects. I just wish I was a better photographer -- they looked waaay cuter in person!

Snow Day!

Being in Texas, we get strong summers and {relatively} mild winters. And while we usually just get a road full of ice, this year we've actually gotten quite a bit of the fluffy white stuff.

This morning I awoke to my backyard looking like this ...

Pretty, isn't it? Now all I need is a warm fire and a white chocolate mocha ...

I just love cupcakes. So, I had to share these adorable Saints cucpakes my friend Britney made for the Superbowl.

A Fresh Coat of Paint

We finally had our house painted a few months ago -- no more white!

Well, except for the guest bedrooms and bathrooms, the master bath, laundry room ... but, Rome wasn't built in a day. And I love that I continually have new projects to think about.

Hence my lingering in Home Depot for two hours after lunch today. Now that the walls have some color, I'm itching to switch out light fixtures. I've looked in Home Depot, Lowe's, several random catalogs and have recently been checking Overstock.com.

Any other ideas of where to find nice-yet-budget-friendly light fixtures?
